World’s First 36,000 kV DC Manganese Silicon Furnace Marks Green Breakthrough in Ulanqab Ferroalloy Industry
Recently, our esteemed partner, Inner Mongolia Jinglei Industrial Co., Ltd., was certified by the Metallurgical Industry Information Standards Research Institute. The 36,000 kV safety-sealed manganese silicon alloy DC mining furnace constructed in Fengzhen City is the first of its kind worldwide. This signifies a new achievement in the 'High Intelligence and Green' development of the Ulanqab ferroalloy industry, marking a breakthrough in advancing the technological 'Breakthrough' initiative.
"Increase raw material feeding speed." "Monitor furnace temperature and prepare for fine adjustments." In the DC furnace central control room of Inner Mongolia Jinglei Industrial Co., Ltd., several staff members sit attentively at the control console, closely monitoring the DC furnace’s operational status while issuing adjustment commands via intercom.
Following technical enhancements, the company anticipates exporting 15,000 tons of Manganese Silicon Alloy this year. Compared to previous AC furnace production, the DC furnace reduces electricity consumption by approximately 15% per ton of alloy, saving 300 to over 400 kWh per ton, improves recovery rates by 3% to 5%, decreases coke consumption by 20 to 40 kilograms, and lowers costs by 200 to 300 yuan. Du Huayu, General Manager of Inner Mongolia Jinglei Industrial Co., Ltd., stated that this technology not only reduces costs but is also easy to operate, effectively supporting new energy peak regulation and enhancing the company’s international competitiveness.
